ADJUNCT SERVICES

1. Facilitation

Facilitation is the art of making negotiations, team efforts and group projects productive and successful. Tri-State facilitators assist organizations, teams and individuals as they define issues, share information, work efficiently and cooperatively, and solve problems or create new opportunities. We also design programs, modules and approaches that lead to successful outcomes in situations that are at an impasse or about to reach an impasse.

2. Consultative Review Panel

Parties who encounter an impasse in the resolution of their dispute at mediation can augment the process by seeking an analysis and review of their issues by a consultative review panel of expert professionals associated with Tri-State. Since this is done as a step in the mediation process itself, the panelists are bound by the same terms of confidentiality as the mediator. Ensuing written advisory recommendations are fully protected as confidential mediation work product. In multiple issue cases, residual issues can be brain-stormed to settlement, thus avoiding the added time and expense of arbitration or court.

The mediator chairs the consultative review panel and remains fully engaged throughout the review process in providing continuity and communications with the parties. Parties may select from a three or four member panel and can set a limit on the number of hours of services.

3. Coaching

Coaching is a well-defined process with identifiable start and end points designed to assist executives and managers in defining clear goals and setting specific timeframes within which to achieve those goals. The goals can be anything from achieving corporate goals, personal/professional objectives, or resolving problems with personal interactions.
